Set-Up

• Vendor Saturday set up: TBA. Show hours are from 9 am - 4 pm

Animal Rules

​

• All animals for sale or display MUST be on the State of Maine Unrestricted Species List.   

• The unrestricted species list can be found at: https://www.maine.gov/ifw/docs/unrestrictedspecies.pdf

• Although we do not restrict sales to just captive bred animals, we do require that all animals be healthy and acclimated. Any animal deemed unsuitable or unhealthy by the Expo staff or our Expo veterinarian must be removed from the table without question.

• All animals must be sold in secure, sanitary containers or bags. No loose animals please.

• Animals for sale must be properly housed and not displayed in overcrowded cages.

• Feeder insects are allowed only in sealed, pre-counted boxes.

• No live mice or rats (except eyes-closed pinky/fuzzy feeders) are allowed inside the building.

• No venomous reptiles are allowed to be sold.

• Vendors assume full responsibility for all animals brought to the show. Any injuries caused by animals brought by a vendor, are the sole responsibility and liability of the vendor.

Tables/Payments

​

• Tables are 8 feet long and $50 each.

• Tables are not considered reserved until receipt of payment. 

• If you cancel your space before July 8th 2024 so that we may resell the space, the table fee will be refunded. If cancellation occurs after July 8th 2024, there will be no refund issued.

• Tables must be claimed by 9 am or they may be made available to other vendors.

• The Expo staff retains the right to prohibit certain types of exhibits and behaviors that we feel is inappropriate or unsafe. For example, excessive flashing lights, loud music, handing out flyers away from your table, and walking around with animals for sale is prohibited.

• Signs or banners may be taped but not nailed to the wall behind your table if you have a wall space. (Please use tape that will not damage the surface of the wall.) 

• Vendors must be prepared to provide a receipt upon request to the purchaser that includes the vendor's name, address, and phone number.

General Rules

​

• No smoking/vaping or alcoholic beverages are allowed in the Expo.

• The Expo staff reserves the right to refuse entry or evict any vendor not in compliance with any of the above shown regulations. (without refund of table rental fee)
